A guide for your Bali Wedding

We thought that after everything we have learnt so far about getting married in Bali, we could offer you all some sound advice about getting married in Bali. Island of the Gods!!
We are obviously massive Bali wedding advocates, but there are some things to be careful of! After all, your wedding takes a year or so of planning, you don’t want to compromise on quality simply through not knowing.
All bride to be’s and anyone involved in the process should read this.

Our Favourite Wedding Planners

If your wedding is a destination wedding, a lot of the time, people ask if it is necessary to have a planner. For a few reasons, I say YES. Do it! My first reason is that due to Bali being a major destination for weddings, there is SO much choice.. and what comes with that is the good, the amazing and the ugly.
There are many wedding planners, amazing at what they do. But here are our favourite vendors due entirely on their creativity and ability to give brides across the world their dream day exactly as they envisioned.

Wedding Photographers

Photography is always so important to any bride and I think in the case of destination weddings, it almost becomes a focal point. You want to capture everything. The beautiful destination, your family and friends who have travelled far and wide and of course the newlywed couple. Here are some of our recommendations.

Hair & Makeup Artists

OK! Let’s face it (pun intended) but hair and make-up is super important to a bride and her bridesmaids. Not only to look amazing for the day but to look amazing in the wedding photos because it is possible for a woman’s make-up to look gorgeous face to face and that not reflect in photos. You want someone that knows their stuff! Like any place, Bali has some amazing artists and then some ‘not so peachy’ ones. Having a background as a MUA myself. I am quite picky. So here is our small list of recommendations that have wow’d us so far.

Yeanna Intansari & Team

Luxe Hair

Renee Pettit

Furniture / Prop Hire

Bali event hire is a great place to look for those brides that would love unique touches throughout their wedding. These girls have great style and their furniture and props are all custom built vintage inspired pieces.

Wedding Cakes & Desserts

Time to decide on the cake? Not only do you want this cake to look AH-mazing but you also want to satisfy your guests pallets.  Take a look at these vendors.

Carrot & Co

Ixora Cakes

LeNovelle Cake

Thank you for interesting and helpful post. It is just in time for us, we are planning to make wedding in Bali in September but still not sure about wedding planner to choose. My husband like The Seven Agency. We found good reviews about them on tripadvisor but can you recommend them? Thank you!
